Whoever is planning to honcho this junket should also pay
attention to restrictions by the Forest Service. They have been
slowly ramping up to outright closure, and at the moment no
campfires, charcoal fires, etc are allowed. After the present trough
pulls out later this week, temperatures are likely to go up
substantially, making closure more likely especially if someone
actually starts a fire. You might consider this coming weekend,
rather than the one ten days hence.
