Meade Instruments has an opening for a Territory Sales Manager position.
This Sales Manager will report to the V.P. of National Sales, and will
work from the home office in Irvine, California. The Sales Manager will
be required to travel as needed. Relocation expenses will not be
covered.
The job description includes:
The management and growth of existing and new accounts in the photo and
specialty markets.
Management of outside Sales Representatives within the defined territory.
On-location training of sales associates on how to sell telescopes,
binoculars, and microscopes, as well as training on the features of
Meade products.
Attending trade shows and special events.
The Sales Manager must report weekly sales and competitive activity,
make effective written and verbal sales presentations, and have computer
skills in using Excell, Word, Powerpoint. The individual applying
should have experience in outside sales. Experience in sales with
telescopes or other optical goods is a plus.
