I was up in Howe ID drove 13 hrs straight from PHX. Â Amazing view the horizon
was rose color because of smoke form a fire north of us. Â Very few people in
area the sky was clear and made fro great viewing.
Shadow chaser-not , rather once in a lifetime experience with my son amazing!

Our family group of 11 people, ages 1 to 75, were a couple miles south of
Carbondale, Il. We had about 30% cover of cumulus clouds, but fortunately there
was a huge sucker-hole leading up to and during totality. Thousands of people
just North of us were less fortunate. They were clouded out at the Southern
Illinois University Stadium. At least they had a lot of entertainment up there,
including a performance by Ozzy Osbourne singing "Bark at the Moon".
