The East Valley Astronomy Club will conduct our February meeting this Friday
evening - February 16th, at 7:30 pm in the main auditorium at the Southeast
Regional Library in Gilbert.
This month our meeting speaker will be Dr. Melodie Kao. Dr. Kao is a radio
astronomer and postdoctoral researcher at the School of Earth and Space
Exploration at ASU. Her presentation will be - Astronomer's Toolkit:
Harnessing Aurorae on Other Worlds to Measure Magnetic Fields. This will be
a cutting edge and engaging talk on using different forms of light to puzzle
out characteristics of stars and planets including their magnetic fields.

Note that the library will be closed at meeting time, so please use the
entrance facing Guadalupe Road.
