I just sent him as polite an email as I could muster, asking him to read
up on the issue, and explaining some of the benefits in case he doesn't
have time to read. I also mentioned to him that I have a lot of
relatives in SunCity West that I'll be discussing this issue with. I
also sent him a light pollution URL and .jpg.
I suggest everyone else also email him with helpful suggestions to get
him to open his mind - I don't think it is beneficial to attack him or
tell him how ignorant he is.

This is what (according to today's Tribune) Sen. Jack Harper, R-Sun City
West (jharper@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx), had to say about SB1218: "frivolous
government regulation."
Do we know which Senators oppose this bill other than (obviously) Sen.
Harper? We may want to focus on the opponents.
