[AZ-Observing] Double Star Filtering Tool

Hi, All!
 

A friend of mine in France, an avid double star observer, has created a
small applet that can filter the Washington Double Star Catalog for pairs
that meet your criteria.  Here is the link:

Enter hours as HH.MM (eg, 20.15 would be 20h 15m) and DEC as DD.MM (so 30.15
would be 30deg 15min), with - for south decs.  Not all fields have to be
used.  

 

I found it very helpful to pinpoint interesting stars to observe in a given
box of the sky.
