Doesn’t look like any internal reflections I’ve ever seen either. Down by the
bottom line, there are three circular artifacts below the small streak and one
about it. Those look like internal reflections to me. The also get stronger as
you get closer the the light source off the bottom of the frame. Which is what
I’m used to seeing with internal reflections.
But the big one up top, that’s interesting. Especially the curved sides to the
cone. Add the ring and the streak makes it a really complicated reflection, if
that’s what it is.
Could the bottom streak be a skip off the atmosphere?
But whatever it is, it’s a nifty image!

what type of equipment he has and what time the photo was taken. Any reason
he was taking a photo in that part of the sky?

Satellite reflection is my best guess.

Does anyone know what this is? My guess is he captured a meteor just as
was exploding in the atmosphere. If I am not mistaken, I think that mayalso
be M31 just to the left of the object. I would be interested in whatothers
think. I think the dude has an APOD on his hands if this is what I thinkit
is.--
Thanks,
Bernard
