I'll be in the machine shop tomorrow (most of the day) and the air
conditioner is cranking right now to make it long sleeved weather inside.
Call me if you need to use anything.

Nah, we just get to take credit for ending the drought, fire season, bark
beetle infestations and anything else that the monsoon rains will heal...
On the flip side if it rains your "flaming frogs" then we had better find a
rock to hide under....

On your "piggyback" deal, give me the tube diameter of your scope where the
piggyback mount goes and I'll see if I can reshape your old one to fit
(drill it, mill it flat and whatever else). Still $1 back to you....

Jimmy;

I have no plans, now or future, to start taking DSLR images through my
scope. I DO have plans to use it piggybacked on the ED 80 and the new
Sirius mount I have. I love wide field photos of the sky. =20

I have used all my "astro bucks" up for right now. So, I will not be in =
the
market for my DSLR camera for some months. But I look forward to seeing
some of your shots at the next meeting. Yea sure, the monsoons started
tonight and probably will quit for Thanksgiving. Teach us to buy new =
stuff.

Holding out hope;
Steve Coe

Okay, here I am $300.00 later with a right angle finder, Kendrick "Kwik=20
focus" mask for the C11, etc., etc. etc on order (not to mention the =
$$$$ in

stuff I bought in the first place). Put it all together with everyone's=20
experience and advice, a couple nights of frustration in the back yard=20
(Beevo you might be coming to my house instead) and I should be good to =
go.

Thank you for all the assistance (Steve I hope you made notes so we =
don't=20
have to do this again when your ready to give it a go)

I have the Hoodman and use it for close up and macro work to 5x - To =
uti=3D
lize this tool, you =3D

must focus the tool in addition to the focus of the camera/lens. =
Switch=3D
ing from 1x to 2.5x =3D

requires a refocus of the tool. =3D

I find this tool to be of great value to save my knees and neck in the =
s=3D
tudio setting.  =3D

Shooting tethered to a laptop with the Canon software is a joy. I find =
=3D
that I do not have to =3D

adjust focus from looking at the screen as I am able to achieve =
critical=3D
 focus with the =3D

Hoodman.  =3D

While it is not what I would call built like a tank, it does work quite =
=3D
well for my purposes.
