Your call, but what I'm seeing from Accuweather is 2 - 3 mph. SkippySky
looks like 6 or 7; Intellicast shows about 5. Where are you seeing the
higher winds?

Thx.

Eric, note the weather reports have changed since they were last posted.

The temperatures are in the mid to high 30's. The real problem is the
breezy wind. This is a real comfort problem in cold weather as there
isn't
any way to keep comfort level at reasonably cold. One get very cold, it

doesn't improve and goes downhill from there.

Consequently I'm out as the observing conditions will not be worth the
effort. Hope this late decision doesn't cause any problems.

Well, tomorrow night still looks quite good so we'll plan on being
there. Hope to see some other souls!

Joining on this discussion. I can do any 2 of Tuesday, Wednesday or
Thursday nights at Antennas.

So far it looks like it is just the 2 or 3 of us willing to put up with
the
cold for some good observing.

Anyone else?

According to SkippySky as of this morning, Tuesday still looks best, but
tonight could work also, albeit with mediocre seeing. That would make
the two-night window. After that it looks crummy until Saturday.

Eric;

I am considering Antennas for Tuesday, but I need the skies to clear
for more than one night. It does not look good for Friday or the
weekend and I am just not sure I want to go out for two nights and then
put up with clouds and wind. Let me get up Tuesday morning and see what

the forecast says.

Hoping for the best;
Steve Coe
