Way back in the old days, guys who use to rebuild surveying equipment used
web from the black widow spider, as it was strong and fine. I would think
that human hair is way bigger that that but I'm sure someone out on the web
has blazed that trail for you.

Has anyone tried to make a crosshair eyepiece out of their own hair, in
my case gray hair? The name implies a 'hair' and so it seems like it
