Howdy all; >From a site 60 miles north of Phoenix, Az and using a 6 inch f/6 and 10X50 >binoculars it is easy to see that Comet Linear A2 is fading. Last Saturday >from the same site it was obviously naked eye and quite bright in the >binoculars. A few hours ago it was just barely seen naked eye and rather >diffuse in the binoculars. A hood of material was seen over the head of the >comet and a tail was seen, but it was faint and only about 20 arcminutes long >at 40X in the 6 inch RFT. This comet was definately brighter, larger, more >concentrated in the middle and has a longer tail a week ago.
