Comet Catalina US 10 is still cruising thru Camelopardalis. Wednesday night it
passed a small planetary nebula, NGC 1501. They could both be seen in one view
in my scopes with a 36mm and 40mm eyepieces.
Only one tail can be seen now. I'm wondering if the ion tail has rotated as it
speeds away and has merged with the dust tail. Or, it it too far away to see
the ion tail. It is about 140 million miles away at present.
