Congrats to Doug Snyder on the idscovery of his first(!) comet. From IAU Circular 7850: D. Snyder (Palominas, AZ). 0.50-m f/5 reflector. Coma diameter about 4', diffuse with little central condensation. Motion about 5' toward northwest during Mar. 11.469-11.514 UT. Observed again Mar. 12.46-12.50. S. Murakami (Matsunoyama, Niigata, Japan). 0.46-m f/4.5 reflector (68x). Coma diameter 3'. Slight motion toward northeast in 30 min. P. Pravec and P. Kusnirak (Ondrejov). 0.65-m f/3.6 reflector + CCD. Coma diameter 1'.1, well condensed; dense starfield. M. Tichy and J. Ticha (Klet). 0.57-m f/5.2 reflector + CCD. Coma diameter > 30". A. Hale (Cloudcroft, NM). 0.20-m reflector + CCD. With a 0.41-m reflector visually at Mar. 12.46, m_1 = 10.4, coma diameter 3'. (C) Copyright 2002 CBAT 2002 March 12 (7850) Daniel W. E.
