Ken Sikes and I are overly desperate for Photons and are heading out to
Flatiron or a little north for the evening.

We'll see what happens, we might wind up coming home also.

Subject: [AZ-Observing] Cherry Rd Report - not good

I just finished speaking with Steve Coe, about 2pm, via cell phone, about
the conditions at Cherry Road and they are not good for telescope use, he is
packing up to head home. There are clouds in all directions except straight
up, they are coming from the south and southeast. Clouds up north, around
Flagstaff, are larger, much darker and taller. They are building more and
more over the last couple of hours or so. The temperature is at the 93d F
mark and climbing.
I checked Clear Sky Clock for Cherry Rd and the cloud cover and humidity are
on the increase.

Joe Goss will remain at the site as long as it doesn't threaten to rain,
hail or snow. So if you decide to go, he should (may?) be there.

Looks like the dry spell is already over,
aj
