Here are a couple sequences that show tail activity in the bright comet in the
pre-dawn sky. This first sequence has nine images taken at a 5-minute
interval. It shows the comet's northward motion and streaming of gases along
the tail. It is heavily stretched to show these features, so pay no attention
to the less-than-perfect flat fielding and gradients.

I began imaging the comet on December 3. This sequence has four frames taken
on different dates up through this morning.
