David Levy has made his first visual discovery of a comet in quite awhile. It is low in the morning sky near Saturn. It is about mag 11 and has a 15' tail. It is close to perihelion at present, so won't be getting any brighter. An orbit with rough ephemeris is available on the relevant MPEC: http://cfa-www.harvard.edu/mpec/K06/K06T21.html \Brian -- See message header for info on list archives or unsubscribing, and please send personal replies to the author, not the list.
