Update on the fireball. According to the information available on the
American Meteor Society website (plenty of reports visible here:
https://www.amsmeteors.org/members/imo_view/event/2017/4167) the meteor
probably fell not too far east of Phoenix, in an area near the Antenna
observing spot! So, for those of you heading to Antennas this week-end for
some dark skies (new moon is getting closer!), keep an eye on the ground
for strange rocks. The odds are probably similar to that of wining the
lottery, but it's free to play ;)
I would also encourage people who witnessed the event last night to submit
a report (https://www.amsmeteors.org/members/imo/report_intro) in an effort
to help refining the estimates.
