I was also doing outreach last night for EVAC.
We were at Chandler Gilbert Community College.
(approx Gilbert and the 202 San Tan in Chandler).
Many of us saw it and it was the first one I have ever seen explode (flash)
like that.
Super show !
It was almost due NORTH of that location.
Must have been pretty close in.
Hope to hear exactly where and if anything got to the ground

Teresa and I were at Camp Tonto Creek (east of Payson) conducting an astronomy
outreach when the group of 60 or so school children got a bonus view. I was
facing NE adjusting a telescope when the sky lit up. I was able to turn around
to catch the tail end of it.
