Hello Everyone out in the Stargazers Universe!
I have been getting inquiries as to the status of the KOA trailer site I have
reserved in Casper Wyoming for the nights of August 19, 20 and 21, 2017.
I STILL HAVE THE SITE. It is not going away. I placed a deposit of $148.00 on
the site, which will have to be paid to me upon winning the raffle.
The raffle will take place on Saturday afternoon, March 25, 2017, at the All
Arizona Messier Marathon. The tickets are $10.00 each with the proceeds going
to the Saguaro Astronomy Club treasury.
You still have a good chance to win a very hard to come by and secure place to
view the Great American Total Eclipse of 2017. Casper Wyoming is the place to
be for all the amateur and professional astronomers from around the world. If
you attend the conventions and lectures which will be held throughout the week,
you will be rubbing elbows with some of the very best people in our great hobby
and passion.
Don't Miss Out on the chance to be at the center of all the activity during the
Great American Eclipse of 2017. The time to reserve a place to stay along the
eclipse path has come and gone. I reserved this site in 2015 to be sure to
have a place to stay.
So, I'll see you at the Marathon at the Hovatter Airfield this March 25th. Come
on out for some really fine stargazing and to see and visit with your fellow
stargazers.
