Hi All- After a request to use an older GIF of mine in a new Grand Canyon Star Party website from the NPS, I decided to rework the GIF format (limited in color and greyscale) to a better higher resolution product. I worked on the 2 versions last night, and uploaded them to Youtube. This morning, Melinda came home from her graveyard shift at UMC and said the latest one needed music, so we have an alternate version of the 2007 one, with a few more loops through the images to stretch it out to the song length. All are about 40 second exposures, taken every 90 seconds with a Canon 20Da and Nikon 16mm fisheye at F/2.8. The '07 version covers 3.5 hours of the star party, and the few clouds we had that night makes the light domes of Flagstaff and Tusayan more apparent than they usually are. Images assembled in Windows Moviemaker. Hope you enjoy! -Dean June, 2006 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=llrJ3AiZNfs June, 2007: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lZdo_6wMKio Alternate '07 w/music http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-n7C_LGmfI -- See message header for info on list archives or unsubscribing, and please send personal replies to the author, not the list. -- See message header for info on list archives or unsubscribing, and please send personal replies to the author, not the list.
