I was originally thinking about Griffen Ranch just north of Globe, but it is
caught between the Sunflower and the Elwood fire. Depends on which way the
win blows.

At Antennas, winds are forecast to be generally southerly until after
11, then to gradually swing to the north and then northeast at 2-4 mph.
This will eventually bring the smoke back down, but my guess is that
this will most likely not occur before morning.

We plan to be there tonight.  Others?

Now that being said how many are going to go to a dark sky location and
where are you going. I hate to waste a good new moon weekend, but I also
don't need to look thru smoke to see dso's.
