My weather rock on a string serves me well. If it cast a shadow, its clear
and sunny. If no shadow, its cloudy. If its wet, then its raining. If its
swinging then its breezy. If you can't see it, then its foggy or night.

Now what more do you need to know about the weather?

Skippy Sky says 40% tonight (time to enjoy a beer, a bowl of pretzels, and
watch a good movie), but < 10% cover for tomorrow out at Antennas when
transparency should be 8 of 10 and seeing should be 7 of 10.
