Hi All- Just stirring after a long night of imaging and observing. Pics aren't even downloaded yet. The biggest surprise for me was Comet 144P Kushida - a few degees west of the Hyades, is good-sized, no tail seen visually, but was easily picked out in 9X63 binocs and very nice in a 10" Newt. In case anyone is going out tonight with the MLK day tomorrow, be sure to add it to your list. You can get the position at: http://www.cfa.harvard.edu/iau/Ephemerides/Comets/ and scroll down to 144P Kushida. You can generate a daily ephemeris for this or any other comet. Have fun! -Dean -- See message header for info on list archives or unsubscribing, and please send personal replies to the author, not the list.
