Hello gang. I receive and read the regular emails from this list but I don't
post. I recently retired and hope to do some much needed updating to my
sonotube DOB we'll nickname "beast." But I have a motorized Meade LXD75 10"
scope and mount plus a solar filter that hasn't been used in quite a while. Is
there any street value for a scope like that or is it destined to be a piece of
furniture?

Hello out there!
Is anyone going to the High Country this weekend to get lost in the night sky
and away from the Phoenix Furnace? If and when it rains, will the meadow be
all gooey and sticky? I've been on the Rim a good many times in the summer
monsoon and many places get real snotty when it gets wet. Is the Meadow like
that? It has also been my experience that it will rain anytime from noon
until late in the evening and then clear up, but be real humid and damp with
LOTS of dew.
Mr. Coe: Do you this it will be worth a trip to the Meadow this weekend?
