I keep a handy list of the brightest planetary nebulae (all NGC/IC plus a few others likely to be mag. 10.5 or brighter) at the Lowell ftp site: ftp://ftp.lowell.edu/pub/bas/deepsky/pn.bright This shows accurate coordinates, dimensions, and current 'best' magnitudes for the nebula as a whole and for the central stars. In the latter case I show a specific journal reference for each value. \Brian -- This message is from the AZ-Observing mailing list.
