I didn't make it out this weekend due to this annoying thing called work, but I do have observation of 6803 and 6804 from west of the White Tanks on anaverage night (seeing 7, transparency 6), both in the 20" scope: 6803, At 400X Pretty bright, very small. Almost stellar. Need to blink with filter to detect it. Slightly bluish. Same brightness as star to N. No detail seen with or without filter, "wow" rating of 2. 6804, At 180X Little small, somewhat bright, irregularly round. 2 stars involved with a third suspected. Possible anularity seen with filter, no color seen. A small puff of smoke in a rich star field. Star to NW is red. "wow" rating of 7 -- This message is from the AZ-Observing mailing list.
