Confession - I forgot to remove the solar filter at the onset of totality. (I
know, I know.)
When back home (Gold Canyon, AZ), decided to examine and stretch what initially
appeared to be blank images while reviewing in Nikon ViewNX 2.

In this cropped version http://www.pbase.com/wjshaheen/image/166092619/large ;
you can clearly see beads, prominences and, I believe, a loop at 2 o'clock.
Nikon D5300 with Nikon 400mm AFS and Kenko 1.4x TC for FL=420mm, F11 and ISO400.
Mounted on a Sky-Watcher Adventurer - Astro Package, which performed admirably.
