...And thank you Rick for standing on the shoulders of giants (AJ Crayon in this case),carrying the torch and furthering the cause to keep the All Arizona Messier Marathon the stellar event it is. We enjoyed the fruits of that labor. Even though Ms. Nature was in a bad mood, the Social part of the event makes the trip worth the gas (at least to me). I enjoyed being out with Gert & Polly and chatting some folks I haven't seen in quite a while. Second, I'm Working on getting the preliminary results tallied up for verification, Should have that out tomorrow, along with a more detailed report. And thanks to the generous donations to our raffle from Lowell observatory, Starizona, Photon Instruments. (hope I didn't miss anyone) And Finally (for tonight, anyway), I really need to say it again loud and clear, thank you to Jennifer Polakis & Lori Prause. They put together a fantastic dinner for us all to enjoy. I certainly felt I got more than my $5.00 worth. It took a lot of work & organization and they did a great job (and didn't get to eat themselves until everyone else had theirs). Again, thanks for making it a success , in spite of Ms. Nature.
