[az-leader] Heritage Fund Petition

At the Senate Appropriations Committee hearing this
morning, the JBLC proposed sweeping the Heritage Fund
for 2003. State Parks countered with a proposal that
would leave the Heritage Fund intact. If the Heritage
Fund is taken it will mean the loss of about 40 parks
people and therefore programs. Game & Fish uses the
Heritage Fund to pay for about 90% of all non-game
programs.
I am looking for first hand experiences as to how and
why Heritage Funds make a difference in our
communities. If you can you help me please email or

Also the Arizona Heritage Alliance has started an
on-line petition to Save The Heritage Fund.
