We were having a Yahoo Group for AWHO for nearly ten years now with approx
300 users. However, It has been decided by Yahoo to close all existing
Yahoo Groups by mid Dec. So I have permanently deleted the that email group
and created another email group on Freelists.
I had also seen the tendency of many residents to send emails to nearly 500
other residents by mentioning all their email IDs rather than using BCC. It
is a tedious process and also has security implications. So I requested
Freelists to import the data of all current users in the Yahoo Group as
well as the email IDs available to me through these open emails.
Some important starter information:
- To post on your mailing list, simply send email to
awho@xxxxxxxxxxxxx.
- Subscribers can join this list by sending email to
awho-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'subscribe' in the Subject fieldO ORby
visiting the list page at //www.freelists.org/list/awho.
