There is a whole series of CPT codes to capture such situations. I am not in
the office and can't look up specific codes. Hopefully others can provide the
numbers quickly. If not, I will do this when I am back in the office.

Subject: [AVAPL Members] Psychologist Codes
We have a question concerning the appropriate coding of services provided by
our integrated mental health/primary care psychologists. Often they provide
services around such issues as compliance with medical treatment to patients
who have no specific mental health diagnosis. Is there a list of applicable
codes which would allow them to code such services accurately?
