Hi,
Oh boy count me in I uninstalled and parted ways with kaspersky just this
afternoon with the impeccable and patient help of the Microsoft disability desk
bless them. Considering how nice Kaspersky was when I purchased it just on the
18th of February it is stunning and heartbreaking to have witnessed the stark
decline in its usefulness in just such a short span. And I’m speaking of the
Internet Security Suite just to be clear. and I too received communications
from them via twitter dm stating firstly to hold out for 2018 and then later on
stating that 2018 would not in fact feature improved support for screen reader
software which is why I made the decision to part ways with it. Now to dispute
the charge for its cost with my credit card company on principle alone.

Subject: [av-a11y] ESET
Hi,
I am considering switching to a flavor of ESET now that Kaspersky has made it
known that they will not be supporting Screen readers in the future. In the
last two weeks their accessibility has diminished to the point that Kaspersky
Internet Security is no longer useful in windows 10. Several of us are being
forced to uninstall the 2017 Suite. Kaspersky has made it known that there are
no plans for accessibility in 2018.
Therefore, I am now considering one of the suites that ESET produces. Has
anyone used their latest suite. I prefer not to just use an antivirus program.
I do not like to mess around with Malware bytes when a Security suite can do
everything in house so to speak.
Thanks in advance,
Merv
