How would we know whether you were being racist or sexist at the time?
Search your heart, Tony.
If the racism/sexism issue complicates things too much, just ponder whether
you might have been unfair or unprofessional. If you think that it might
have been, consider apologising to the lady. That's the time-honoured way
of putting things right when you feel you've done wrong.
If you check your conscience and it comes up clean, then no action
required.
