Hi Tracy,
Just because you are using a recordable CD that you use for backups elesewhere doesn't mean that the drive on the PC that you are using right now is actually a CD writer (it might only be a reader).
Also, the IT policy at where you are / for that PC might disallow writes to removable media.

Thanks for your email, I should've been more accurate. I'm trying to save it to a CD using Save As from Acrobat. The CD is recordable as I use them all the time for file back-ups. I've been able to save the PDF onto my hard drive and also a floppy, but still not a CD.
