Hi Helen,

I've used Wink before which essentially captured screenshots as a video
file. Mind you, this software can also do screenshots on their own and
you can link them as a continuous presentation. The best thing - its
free!!!

Hi Michelle
I have SNAGIT and love it, but because I have so much to do I need to =3D
record the steps as well. Thanks for the suggestion.

Helen,

I use Snag-it for screen shots and develop my own steps. Snag-it is
available from http://www.techsmith.com/ for about $50

Does any one have advice on what software is the most effective and
affordable to capture screen shots and generate the steps and keystrokes
=3D to help develop IT training manuals in WORD ? I have used INFOPAK and
would =3D not consider it again. It's too expensive, cumbersome and has a
complete disrespect for Styles.
