Brian,
Surely the plural of Aunt Sally is Aunt Sallys rather than Aunt Sallies.

Since when do you throw a shy, when shy means to throw.

Personally, I use the media as an Aunt Sally to shy at.
Sometimes, I use the media to shy at.
