Yes, that might be likely to happen for short term contracts where they =
want someone in a hurry. However the job I was referring to was a =
permanent position. I was very pleased not be be dragged through an =
"weeding" interview with the agency and then at least two interviews =
with the employer, which seems to be a common path these days for =
permament roles.
