TAKE ACTION - Help Protect Important Lake Erie Habitat U.S. Representatives Marcy Kaptur (OH) and John Dingell (MI) have introduced legislation which would establish an International Wildlife Refuge to protect the remaining high-quality wildlife habitats of the western basins of Lake Erie before they are lost to further development and to restore and enhance degraded wildlife habitats. YOUR letter of support is vitally important in establishing the proposed International Wildlife Refuge. Please send a letter to Rep. Marcy Kaptur today in support of her bill. Your letter will be presented to the U.S. House of Representatives at a hearing on the bill, tentatively scheduled for this Thursday, July 18th. **It's easy to send a letter to Rep. Kaptur. Just go to http://actionnetwork.org/campaign/Lake_Erie_Wildlife_Refuge/. Rep. Kaptur would like to submit as many letters of support as possible, so please pass this on to anyone who may be interested in establishing an International Wildlife Refuge on Lake Erie.
