I haven’t had a double strand cane brake on me yet, but I don’t use canes very often. I know of plenty of people using single strand canes that have them brake though, usually not at a good moment either. I had one cane drop down a man hole in Chicago, so some sanitary worker later probably got himself a free cane, no telling what else he found in there either though *lol*. They probably wonder why blind people are roaming around their underground systems up there, because I was the first or last to have a cane drop into manhole. I am presuming that one was part of the storm sewer because iit was right along a street edge. Right where it can catch water, or canes *lol*. > On Mar 25, 2015, at 4:45 PM, jazzyjennifer <jwens2000@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: > > yeah i know all about that cane breaking, i had a friend one time, he was at > one of the schools for the blind, and he was walking to class, out in the > cold. and he had a cane with three pieces. and the thing decided to snap, he > had to pick up all the pieces. > * To post to the audio-pals group send e-mail to: audio-pals@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > To unsubscribe via e-mail send mail to: audio-pals-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx and > put the word unsubscribe in the subject line of the e-mail. > To subscribe to this list send mail to: audio-pals-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx and > put the word subscribe in the subject line of the e-mail. > > > * Audio-pals Archive of Audio letters on Sendspace: > https://www.sendspace.com/folder/ukt0yo > > * Zello users, search for audio-pals channel, password is pudding. > > * * To post to the audio-pals group send e-mail to: audio-pals@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe via e-mail send mail to: audio-pals-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx and put the word unsubscribe in the subject line of the e-mail.
