I had a little issue when I first arrived at the school. It was kind of
weird because the semester before last the area that they drove me to was
the big deal and they said they couldn't take me thorugh there, well some of
the drivers anyways. This time they took me to the place that was the issue
when all they had to do was drop me off at the entrance there at the street.
They insisted that they could not do that because there was construction
going on. I told them I was aware of the construction and if they will walk
me back to the road I will show them where I need to go. They refused saying
that the construction blocks the road. Finally, I get my disability person
on the phone there at the school and he says he will come over there which
he is in an office several blocks away. After I hung the phone she said well
lets walk donw where I had originally said. I told her exactly where I
needed to go and she complimented me telling me that I drew a pefect visual
and brought us right up to the doors I needed to go to. I am thinking to
myself why didn't you just listen the first time when I told you instead of
both my driver and one of the supervisors acting like I was an idiot. So, I
try to call my disability person back and he had already started making the
trek over so he had to walk all the way over there to just find that I was
where I needed to be. Hopefully that does not continue to be a problem.

I made it to class without any issues once I was inside the building.
The class although very interactive with groups which I am not a big fan of
was and seems like it will be an interesting class.

Then I catch the bus over to the disability office only to find out that
they did not let me off at the right doors. So, I am trying to find an
office and I did so I asked them how to get hwre I needed to go. So, I get
up to the office where I need to be and talk to the person I need to talk to
only to find out that they do not have what I need. So, I make the phone
call and take the bus back over to the building where I need to be.

I then head inside to go to my second class. This class is going to be a
tough one even though it is a junior level class. The work load sounded like
it is going to be graduate level. This is my family stress class. The
graduate student though seems like he is going to be willing to work with me
and that makes all the difference in the world when you have a teacher
willing to work with you and get feedback.

I go to head out for the day and I am waiting at the door for my bus.
While waiting a friend of mine, also blind, walks in and I helped her find
the elevator. I think I threw her off by standing on the wall she needed in
order to get to the elevator. So, I did my good deed for the day. A lady was
walking from the parking to trying to get to the cross over bridge, this is
where I get to do my second good deed for the day *LOL*, she asked me how to
get to it. Just so happens I remember that location very well from the days
I worked on campus and was able to give her directions right to whre she
needed to go.

I have homework in both the classes I had this morning. We will see how
my 3 hour class goes this evening.
