[audacity4blind] wanting to record me singing with audacity

Hi all, I'm new here.
I was wanting to record myself singing using audacity, the problem is though
the music I'm singing to overides my voice, is there a way I can fix this? I
want to be able to hear the music during playback but I also want people to be
able to hear my singing as well, is this even possible with audacity?
