reached with shift-p and lets you pan a track anywhere from far left to far
right. From your description though, I think you want to pan a selection from
– say – left to right over the duration of the selection. Unless I have missed

Hi everyone,
Could someone explain how the panning feature in Audacity works? For example,
similarily, when we apply an echo to a portion of a dry voice track, all we
have to do is place markers around the portion of the file where we wish to
apply the effect. But what would I do if I wanted to apply a panning effect to
a voice track whereas I could make the audio sound as if it were actually
panning from left to right thus, creating a stereo-llike sound but the audio is
panning left to right. I tried to describe this as best i could. Hope it makes
some kind of sense. Thanks in advance for any help.
