Hi, guys:

I've been reading your posts, and I was wondering. Are all of you using desktops?
No one has indicated otherwise.

And, why would you want JAWS to be included in a recording?

Just curious.

Hi Kristoffer

I was being ultra-conservative last night when I said I thought the Q302
would record both mike and screen reader.  I checked this morning and it
definitely does.  As you are using jaws, you will need to go into the
Control Panel and set the Q302 as the default card.  JAWS, and
everything else, will then come through it.

You may well have to do some juggling with the level in the Control
Panel and in Audacity to stop jaws from coming through too hot.

Make sure that you also set Audacity to record and play back through the
Q302.

I am surprised it did not work with the Xenyx 1202.  My guess is that
you did not set it as the default card.

When you first start switching between different cards it can be quite
confusing.  After some practice though it is something that can be done
quickly and easily.

Hi.
I'v got that mixer at home. thanks to you.
I tried to record Everything through usb, but that didn't work.
then I read that you cannot mix computer audio with live things.
so you can't record your screenreader and a microphone at the same time.
I wanted to get rid of the computers soundcard because it was so bad.
you almost can't play games at all using that.
if I shall carry this around I don't want a lot of Cables. as it is
now, I've got too much Cables to connect and disconnect.
I could buy an other usb soundcard, the usb host Powered mixer, but
then it is still very much to carry around.
as I said. the focusright card had all things I wanted, but not recording.

Hi.
I've got my behringer 1202 some months ago, and it works perfectly.
I bought a computer (msi gt72) with many audio Connections, and that was
great.
But I want something small I can carry with my computer.
the 1202 is not easy to have. because of the Power adapter and such things.
do you have anything to recomend?
I want to have live monitoring, like behringer 1202, so I hear what I'm
doing.
what would you recomend?
/Kristoffer
