hello david,
i have to record one track in my project and apply few effect on the others
tracks after.
i want to know the during of my record track to aply my effects in good
timing.
if i can, i want to know the during of my record track without move my
cursor position.

Hi,
Do you want to know the length of one of the tracks in a project?
If so, then first move the cursor to the end of that track. You can do this
by having that track selected, and all others not selected, and then
pressing the letter k to move to the end of the selected tracks.
Then to read the position of the cursor, either:
1. press [ to open the start selection dialog. If you're using Jaws, you'll
have to tab round to the position control again for it to be read properly.
2. Alternatively, press ctrl+f6 to move to the selection bar, and then tab
to selection start. To return to the tracks, press ctrl+f6 twice.
