Hi Andrew,

Yeah, it blew me away.

I have found the windows app called SpleeterGUI.

It still uses the spleeter wwebservice but there is no limit.

I am happy to upload it to dropbox if anyone wants it but be warned, it is
240mb.

Just let me know.

F Y i, I found that splitting into 2 tracks, eg:: for karaoke the quality is
a lot better than 4 or 5 tracks.

Regards

\Adrian

Adrian, this is extraordinary.  I have tried both and they are impressive.
I Skyped a friend and played him the various components of a demo song he
sent me recently.  He was aware of the technology, but still impressed.

Yes, I suspect the paid option is slightly better - need to have a good
listen but fingers are in need of warming up at present.  But the free
option is still remarkable.  I wish I had kept Orlando's post, explaining
that this sort of thing is not possible.  Orlando, I am not paying you out -
I agreed entirely with you at the time.

Andrew

Subject: [audacity4blind] song separation

Hi all,

A while ago someone had asked about removing parts of a song file.

Well, have I found some good stuff.

The 1st is a website that you upload your file & it then downloads in zip
format.

It separates the song into the following:

Bass, Drums, other which is the rhythm track, piano & vocals.

It can be a bit wishy washy when listening to individual tracks but it is
quite amazing.

The best part is that it's free.

They do ask for donations but its quite worth looking at.

There is also a windows app that I believe is written in python.

The engine is called Splleter by Deezer.

The website is:

https://ezstems.com/

The 2nd one Is better quality but is not free although you get a preview of
a song you upload.

It also splits the tracks.

Website

https://phonicmind.com/pricing/

I think if you are a muso you will find this useful.

Regards

Adrian
