What do you mean by split? Two separate files?

There are several ways of selecting the section you want to
copy. As Ella
said, you can use control-f6 to get to the selection toolbar.
Another
option is to press left bracket ([) at the start point while
playing and
right bracket (]) at the end. If you need information on making
a very
precise selection, let us know.
Then, press control-c to copy the selection. When at the right
place in the
new project, press control-v to paste.
It is quite easy with a bit of practice. The screen reader you
use will
make no difference to the process.
