You can also use control-shift-left or control-shift-right arrow.  Each
press moves by one decimal point.  The benefit of that approach is that you
can pan while playing and therefore get a better feel for where you want the
sound to be.

 

I am also a fan of the panramp.ny plugin, which allows a selection to be
panned over time.

Use a decimal figure like -0.5 or 0.7.

I've found the pan menu and I have moved tracks to left and right but I
wonder if there is a way to parcially move tracks somewhat to the left or
right instead of all the way. Thanks for any help.
