to unsubscribe, try the following:
Go to the page: https://www.freelists.org/list/audacity4blind
On that page, enter your email address, set the combo box to unsubscribe,
check the check box to indicate you're not a robot, and then press the next
button.
You should get an email with instructions with how to confirm your action.
If this still doesn't get you unsubscribed, let me know, and I'll
investigate further,
