Hi David, I will give it a try when I get back to my laptop. Thank you.

this is my guess at the problem. When you open or import some audio, the
horizontal zoom is set so that all the audio can be seen on the screen. This
means that it can be zoomed out a lot compared to the normal zoom. The
scrubbing has a maximum speed of 3, so if you're zoomed out a lot, then if you
zoom out or zoom in once, you're still limited by that maximum speed, and so
the speed won't change.
Pressing ctrl+2 to sets the zoom to normal, and the scrubbing speed of one
half. You can then zoom in or zoom out to change the speed from there.

Hi all, successfully installed 2.4.1. Have experimented with scrubbing
keystrokes and find if I try to adjust the speed by pressing control plus 1
or 3 it makes no difference to the speed. What am I missing? Have I missed a
step in the setting up. I have chosen full keyboard commands.
