Hi Andrew,

I think it was latency.  When I first tried recording I didn't have
headphones on and got a lot of feedback.  Then I tried again and it sounded
like a diminishing echo.  I hope this helps.

Hi Gary

More details please.  Do you mean you were hearing a delay through
headphones when recording, the recording was echoey, there was latency
between tracks etc.

Andrew

Hi All,

I just tried the rc release of audacity When I recorded a test I got a lot
of delay.  Is there a setting I need to change that will stop this?  Thanks
for any help.
